"Someone doesn't want you to read this book..."
Book challenges and censorship are on the rise across the country. Join Bemis Public Library for a new book club celebrating the freedom to read, and engage in thoughtful, respectful conversations about difficult topics, censorship, and why libraries fight to protect the right to read freely.
In May, the book club will discuss books about war that have been challenged. Participants are invited to read The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien, or ask a librarian for other books that fit this theme.
