Book challenges and censorship are on the rise across the country. Join Bemis Public Library for a new book club celebrating the freedom to read, and engage in thoughtful, respectful conversations about difficult topics, censorship, and why libraries fight to protect the right to read freely.
In August, participants will discuss classic books that haven't aged well. Choose Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder, or ask a librarian for other suggestions.
